All glass is the same and it is all recyclable, right? The truth about glass recycling lies in the melting point, and knowing what type of glass can go into your blue recycle cart in Newark makes a difference!

On a basic level glass can be recycled infinitely; moreover it is marvelous to understand why only certain glass is readily recyclable. When glass is melted during the recycling process, any glass with additives will not melt down. These kinds of glass include windows, windshields, cookware, canning jars, household glassware and mirrors.
